The R House family of companies is locally owned and operated by Chris Rawson, who was born and raised in Northwest Florida in a small-business family. From an early age, Chris was immersed in the home services industry, learning the value of hard work, integrity, and taking care of people the right way. The R House family is made up of separate, independently operated companies, each led by Chris Rawson and built to serve homeowners in different but complementary ways with seamless integration of services when needed.

R House Construction
...is a separate company focused on residential construction and improvement services, including custom home builds, small repairs, additions, fencing, pergolas, porches, decks, and other exterior projects.
While these companies operate independently, they share the same leadership, core values, and commitment to exceptional customer service. Chris brings over 20 years of experience in the pest and termite industry, many years of government project management experience and holds multiple professional licenses and certifications, including:

Before founding R House, Chris served as Chief Operating Officer of his family’s business, Superior Termite & Pest Management, where he worked closely with realtors, contractors, and homeowners to provide Pensacola and the surrounding areas with some of the best customer service in the industry. That experience helped shape the systems, standards, and service expectations used across the R House family of companies today.
When Chris opened his own small business in 2018, his vision was to grow into a family of companies—serving homes, protecting investments, and helping build both houses and dreams in the community he calls home. We have spent the last 8 years growing our name and reputation as one of the best pest control, handyman and fence companies in the panhandle. While Chris continued gaining experience and certifications needed to grow into a Certified Residential Contractor. Now in 2026 we are ready to take the next step by separating the companies and growing our offerings.
